Assalamualaikum. Ada seorang customer saya raise issue yang dlm ostematrix shaklee yg dia beli contain bahan sintetik - silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide. Dia mintak penjelasan since kita selalu claim shaklee ni natural without artificials. 

Ada sesiapa boleh tolong bagi explanation kenapa ada bahan2 ni? bukan ke bahan2 ni bahaya? dan selamat ke sebenarnya nak consume?

Titanium dioxide

Titanium dioxide is a natural mineral occurring in iron-containing mineral ores. After the iron content is removed, the enriched mineral fraction is treated with acid and heated to form the pure oxide of titanium. Due to its opaque, intense white color, titanium dioxide is widely employed as a safe, non-irritating natural pigment and is used in small amounts in a few of our products.
Titanium dioxide is also a naturally occurring mineral and is present in a variety of plants, where it takes part in energy production. The National Toxicology Program finds no carcinogenicity for titanium dioxide. The World Health Organization International Program on Chemical Safety expert committee on food reported that titanium dioxide is non-toxic. A study of titanium implants in humans found no signs of adverse effects.
Based on natural sourcing, titanium dioxide is also consistent with our commitment to products that are as natural as possible. The preponderance of the scientific and medical data shows that titanium dioxide poses no risk to human health as used in dietary supplements.

Silicon Dioxide

Silicon dioxide is found in higher amounts in plant-based foods. Fruits and vegetables contain a good amount of silicon dioxide. Silicon is an indispensable part of the food that we eat daily.
